NATURE'S BUDDY

Project Vriksha
Project Vriksha focuses on reforestation and enhancing green cover in the Himalayan region. Through tree plantation drives and community involvement, the initiative aims to restore degraded lands, improve biodiversity, and combat climate change. By fostering a sustainable environment, it helps protect the delicate ecosystem for future generations. Under Project Vriksha, four key factors are considered while planting trees:

Secured Places
Trees are planted in safe locations such as school properties and office premises, ensuring they can be regularly tended to.

Specific Time
Plantation is done during the monsoon season to reduce maintenance and increase the survival rate of saplings.

Local Species
Only native species are planted as they maintain soil fertility, require minimal care, and support the local ecosystem.

Community Engagement
Youth, local residents, and students are actively involved in planting and caring for the saplings, building a sense of responsibility towards the environment.
