ABOUT US

Nature's buddy is a youth based organization working for environmental and wildlife conservation in the region of Uttarakhand. We engage people in creative ways to become a team and work in coordination to achieve the goal of making the earth a better place to live in.

The three R’s : Reduce, Reuse and Recycle along with the two P’s: Preserve and Protect are the main mantras of the team. We inspire people to cut down on waste disposal and make them aware of how to reuse what is thought of as waste.

Along with it we work relentlessly towards the protection and preservation of wildlife especially Asian Elephants enlightening communities about their importance and enabling them to coexist with wildlife.

Our team educates people in areas where no means of help is available and people are either helpless about their circumstances or not well educated about what can be done.

To work on environmental, wildlife and socio -economic issues and communicate results. To promote public education, awareness and action on environment aspects and sustainable development.

MISSION

Provide leadership, encourage partnership and inspire people around the word to protect the environment and achieve socio-economic development through education, research, advocacy and action programs.
