A door-to-door awareness campaign on Human–Wildlife Conflict mitigation was conducted in the Thano Range in collaboration with the Forest Department and Six Senses by Vana. The awareness vehicle was flagged off by Nature’s Buddy along with the Ranger of Thano Range. The campaign covered villages including Ramnagar Danda, Kudiyal Village, Kaluwala, Jolly Grant, Paw Wala Soda, and Badasi. Villagers were sensitized on key do’s and don’ts to reduce human–wildlife conflict, and interactive sessions were held with the local community to address concerns and promote coexistence

In recent days, our team has witnessed increased movement of elephants in areas such as Auli, Kesharwala, Soda Saroli, Maharana Pratap Chowk, Rajeev Gandhi Cricket Stadium, and Maldevta Village.

During the campaign, local residents were sensitised about do’s and don’ts to reduce human–elephant conflict, and direct interactions were conducted to spread awareness on safety measures and coexistence practices
